01. The Context

Due to new regulations, bank employees needed a unified portal to simplify data overview. They needed to deliver FRTB(Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) reports, but no solution was available to display the data effectively.

4+ solutions were already available, however they were scattered around and hard to use.

During the project, I found the sweet spot for the new solution, that followed technical constraints, fulfilled the user and business needs.

02. Preparation - and estimations

During this project I worked closely with software architects, developers and the client. The project went through 4 main stages, and I delivered multiple design activities throughout the process.

03.Sitemap and benchmark analysis

After delivering research of benchmarks, and existing portals, as well as the stakeholder needs, I delivered a sitemap for this new portal.

It was especially crucial to understand the existing portals and how features of the 4 portals could tie in into 1 solution.

04. Concept validation

A numerous wireframes were delivered by me of crucial portal sections, based on best UX practices, the existing information of the portals, business needs and the users.

As the sole designer, I juggled different requirements - technical, business and user needs.

In this stage, I conducted multiple user tests to validate and iterate the concepts.

05. High Fidelity Prototype

As the sole designer, on this project, in my role I developed a high fidelity prototype, and created a simple design system with over 2000+ reusable assets for the clients needs.

05. The Final Result & Implementation

The new portal helps bank employees be efficient and deliver necessary reports on time.

The new portal allowed to cut the reporting time for over 30%.

Adrian A.Tores, Software Architect:

“Your ability to interact effectively with clients has been particularly impressive, and it is clear that you possess great communication skills. Beyond that, you played a key role as a highly skilled designer, independently leading the entire design process from start to finish. From initial research and stakeholder alignment to final delivery, your strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ownership of the project were instrumental to its success.”
